Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What services do you offer?

We offer DJ services for weddings (ceremony and reception) and events in addition to lighting (Uplighting & Dance Floor Lighting).

Can we send you a music request list?

You are able to pick which songs you definitely want to hear, and ones you do not want to hear, for your event.

How many songs should I request?

You can select all of the songs you would like to hear, and ones you do not want to hear, during your event. Some clients will give the DJ 50+ songs, some maybe 10, so it is up to you. We would like for you to at least give your DJ 10-15 songs of different genres and artists you would like to hear, as well as songs/artists you don’t, so the DJ has an idea of what music you’d like for the different parts of the event. We will play any kind of music you would like and will not play anything that is on your Do Not Play list.

Will the DJ take requests from the guests?

This is up to YOU, the client who is paying for the event. If you allow the DJ to take requests from guests, the DJ may play some of them. The DJ “filters” requests, meaning they will not play a song that you, the client, specifically asked the DJ not to play or music from a genre you, the client, asked the DJ not to play. If someone makes a request that fits in well with what the DJ is playing at the time and with the music the client wants, then the DJ may play the request.

Will the DJ play overtime if needed?

Yes, the DJ can play past the contracted time only if they do not have a later event booked that evening or night (which is extremely rare). Overtime can be added to the Invoice at the contracted rate and the client will be able to pay on a mobile device with a credit card or in person with cash.

When should we book the DJ?

A good time frame is at least six months before the event. Sometimes we are available for last minute events as well.

What are the payment terms?

The deposit is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due the week of the event date.
